Incorrect sitting risks We used to think that sitting down means to repose, but during the time is proved to be wrong. In the sitting position the human body bear a much larger amount of weight than in the standing position. Wrong positions generate traumatic injuries of the back. Vertebra discus being pressed down, the ligaments deforms themselves, the muscles suffer because of activity excess and contracts. This is why you choose a proper chair with a back tall enough according to your height Put your feet on plain ground keeping the correct position to facilitate your blood circulation. It is highly recommended to obtain the ideal angle of the body (between 90 and 100 degrees) for relaxation and improvement of digestive and respiratory functions. The importance of the arms It's been scientifically proved that the forearms disposed on the arms of chair unloads the weight supported by the vertebras, minimizes tensions around the neck and shoulders. As a conclusion the arms increase the comfort of sitting in a proper manner. |
